Shalom!

Sarah’s Tent has gone through some changes, not only in our look, but also our purpose. We are no longer only an e-magazine, but a full ministry that will provide you with all sorts of resources to begin, sustain, and continue your Torah walk.

The following are important articles and links that will be of interest to you and help you to navigate the site better. To see specifically what pages have been updated, check the bottom of this page under "Updated Pages".

Most of the web pages are self explanatory. If you are just beginning I would suggest you first visit the Sabbath page. It covers just about everything you need to know about Sabbath and includes an Erev Shabbat ( Friday night ) service that you can use with your family. From there I would visit the Feast page to learn about the Biblical Holidays commanded for us to keep. At the bottom of that page are the dates for the feasts. The Torah page contains the weekly Torah readings based on the one year schedule, as well as commentary on those readings by Rabbi Yehudah ben Shomeyr, a Natsari rabbi.

If you are just learning about Hebrew roots, or are not sure about Torah, I would recommend the following two articles.

Torah is Not the Law

Obey the Torah

Another good article to read:
The Status and Role of Women in the First Century Messianic Community

What is Nazarene (Natsarim) Judaism? (article from Yashanet.com)

The E-magazine page contains the latest issue of Sarah’s Tent, and also the archives. In the magazine you will find articles to help you on your Torah walk, teachings, kosher recipes, activities for children, and recommended books, and films. Many of the e-magazines cover the Feasts, and because of that, info on the different feasts will often link to a particular e-magazine issue.

Often times many of the questions we receive is "How is this done?", or "Why do we do this?" The Halacha page will answer these questions and contains in depth Torah instruction and guidance on how we as Natsari women can be Torah obedient in this modern time.

We have started a homeschool page, which is a very important part of the Torah learning process for our children. You will find a lot of help there, including a beginning course on Hebrew, free of charge. This course will teach the Hebrew letters and vowels.

We are planning a blog and message board on Sarah Tent. The blog will be Moriah and my way of sharing the tidbits that we come across day to day that are relevant for all of us. The message board will will allow everyone to join in discussions, ask questions, and fellowship. It will be up some time in the future, and we will let you know more details about that later.

As Sarah's Tent continues to grow, we hope that you will take advantage of all that is offered here. If you are ever in need of direction, you may always feel free to contact Moriah or myself for help. We will get back to you as quickly as possible. In order to find quickly what has been updated on the site, please check below. Anything on ST that has been added or updated will be mentioned in UPDATES.

Listen to me, you who follow after righteousness, you who seek Yahweh: look to the rock whence you were hewn, and to the hole of the pit whence you were dug. Look to Abraham your father, and to Sarah who bore you; for when he was but one I called him, and I blessed him, and made him many.
