Prayers & Blessings

Why pray in Hebrew? Yes, the Eternal hears our prayers, no matter what language we speak, however it has always been preferable to pray in Lashon Hakodesh, (the Holy Tongue). It is said that the Hebrew Alef Bet existed before the world was created, and that Yahweh used them to bring into existence all things. It is the language of our ancestors, and the language that Yahweh used to communicate with them. I would encourage everyone of the Messianic faith to learn the prayers and blessings in Hebrew and also to teach it to their children. A very good article written by Dr. Daniel Botkin on the importance of Hebrew can be found here at this site: The Importance of Studying Hebrew.

As time alows we will be adding more. For now click below to see and hear, (hopefully) the Torah blessings.

Torah Blessings

Listen to me, you who follow after righteousness, you who seek Yahweh: look to the rock whence you were hewn, and to the hole of the pit whence you were dug. Look to Abraham your father, and to Sarah who bore you; for when he was but one I called him, and I blessed him, and made him many.

Isaiah 51:1-2
